The last ten weeks Maya, Joey, and Bleu gave us the opportunity to make music.
We first learned how to use the computers and talked about intros, outros,
bridges, hooks, verses, tempo, and choruses. We then went to the museum, saw
all the exhibits and took pictures to see which exhibit we wanted to make music
for.
We chose the Gem and Minerals exhibit and Discovery room with the snakes.
[Our music] ... brings life and makes it more interesting while exploring
the collection.
This was a very exciting experience for me because there isn't always an
opportunity like this just floating around. It made me really want to focus
on my voice
and now I think I want to take singing lessons. I liked that they broke
me out of my shell when I said I would never record myself singing because
I
would sound horrible, but I did it and it wasn't that bad.
I really liked this and would love to do it again.
